Elicit label head Kessler’s holistic approach to rhythmical and immersive sound has cemented himself as a rising star in recent years, with hi-energy and progressive selections captivating audiences and leaving lasting impressions around the world. Portrayed through a number of sought after 12″s on labels such as Shall Not Fade, Holding Hands and his own Elicit imprint. From cutting edge techno mutations, dark and dubbed out half-time rollers, late ‘90s bassbin shaking jungle through to early 2010s post-dubstep heydays, the artist’s UK bass culture influence is definitely present, but never a constant. Originally from Belfast, where he developed his unique myriad of melancholic, dreamlike soundscapes infused with meticulous and bass bin shaking drum breaks. Having relocated to Rotterdam, he continues to refine his versatile skill-set and genre-defying characteristic in his productions, DJ sets, and live performances, as well as at Elicit label nights where carefully curated lineups are paired with his innate ability to command a dance floor, leaving no stone unturned - constantly shifting in tempo or mood to demonstrate his vision.
